Creating a Safe and Supportive Home Environment for Independence and Growth
Group Homes provide a safe environment for residents in a group living situation. Staff are provided 24-hours a day to assist and train each participant in developing daily living skills and to ensure the health, safety and welfare of the participants.
Each Group Home participant develops an annualized Individualized Service Plan (ISP) with his/her support team. Support teams are typically comprised of the participant, family members, and staff from a variety of disciplines who provide services. The ISP includes the participant’s goals, likes, interests, abilities, and supports needed. Group Home programming is enacted by home & community program managers, nursing staff, and direct support professionals.
